Welcome to Thrift Farm

We have very happy chickens, ducks and geese at Thrift Farm because DEFRA regulations to keep birds undercover have now been lifted! This is fantastic news for our birds who have been on their best behaviour and are now loving being able to run, swim and scratch around in their paddocks. We are still unable to sell feed for public feeding as the birds can only be fed in the houses, this will continue to be reviewed. As the paddocks are once again full, normal entrance charges will apply. This is £5 adult, £2.50 child (under 2s free), £12.50 family (2 adults, 2 children) during weekends and school holidays. We are very grateful to everyone for your understanding during this time!

The Farm Park & Gift Shop are open every day of the week from 9:30am - 4:00pm. The FoodforThought Cafe is open 10:00am - 4:00pm (last orders 3:00pm for hot food, 3:30pm cold food/drinks).

It is Thrift Farm’s mission to create future employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities and mental health problems through support, guidance and training.

Just some of the great feedback we’ve received.

Thrift Farm is brilliant. I came here years ago when my teens were toddlers, and decided to come back again with my younger kids, aged 6 and 8. The Farm is very well laid out, and there are plenty of animals to see. The hatchery with the baby Guinea pigs was my favourite!
